English as she is spoken focuses on conversation for intermediate students. The format is text, comprehension, discussion and exercises plus all the supplementary material you need;articles and ads, maps and menus, songs and stories.

There are play-readings, dialogues and word games for everyday expressions. Styles vary from informative to fun. You will practise both navigating in London and taking a Brit around a Swedish island.You will be challenged and provoked to debate a wide variety of topics, (”Could some of this be as it was in the Good Old Days?”).

There are stress indicators in the text to assist pronunciation and vocabulary lists. This ikon indicates material recorded on the accompanying cassette.
